Krish Bhog Journey

Just like grandma used to make Krishbhog was started in the year 2010, Since then it has created nice market in the rural caterers segment. We are the largest caterers to the rural areas of Surat. It is family owned business, ventured into opening up our own sweets outlets, manufacturing packaged Namkeens & Ready to Eat managed entirely by the Patel Family - which has a farming background. Since inception, we have products, Snacks, Packed Frozen Foods, Bakery, traditional Gujarati Farsan and many more under our own brand name.

The Founder Mr. Narendra Kalidas Patel is the proprietor of this company and has had an overall experience of 20 years of running a business. In this industry it has been 12 years since he ventured is proud of the kind of expansion achieved so far.

Over the years, Krish Bhog has expanded its offerings while staying true to its roots. The brand's commitment to using only the finest ingredients, traditional techniques, and maintaining strict quality control has earned it a loyal following not just in its hometown but across regions.

Farming The Beginning

Krish Bhog's journey began with agriculture. The family spent a lot of time working in the fields, and their income primarily depended on agriculture.
From this, they learned many things, like patience, teamwork, and resilience. However, after putting so much effort into farming, with long hours, they could not make both ends meet.
This growth saw their products exported to the international market. Krish Bhog's reputation gained the product more customers who hailed from all walks of the world.
They wanted to get out of the agricultural lifestyle and build a better future for themselves.

Starting a Small Hotel in 2009

In 2009, the family took a leap of faith and opened a small hotel. This was their very first venture outside of agriculture. They had no prior experience in the hospitality business, which made the initial phase grueling.
They wanted to get out of the agricultural lifestyle and build a better future for themselves.
It started to bear fruit when the family was able to offer food that everyone liked. Eventually, people around the area recognized their small hotel and began coming in regularly.
Small success, in turn, fueled the confidence of this family to do greater things.

Entering the Catering Business in 2010

The family had gained much experience from their hotel. They started Krish Caterers in 2010. This was a business that would help them reach out to more people and serve them.
However, the first three years were not easy. They had very few orders, and they were financially strapped.
Despite these struggles, they remained committed to the delivery of quality food. They settled on handling small events only, by providing snacks and light meals.
Their strict commitment to quality eventually earned the trust of their clients. Gradually, they received more orders, and this became the initial growth in their catering business.

Establishing the First Factory in 2015-2016

Setting up their first factory in 2015-2016 was the third bold step taken by the family to meet the ever-increasing demand for their snacks and sweets.
With 5,000 square feet in area, the facility was built to produce larger quantities of snacks and sweets that could be produced in high-quality consistencies.
The factory allowed them to launch instant ready-to-eat food items like dal-rice meals, which stormed the market.
This growth saw their products exported to the international market. Krish Bhog's reputation gained the product more customers who hailed from all walks of the world.

Krish Ka Dhaba in 2018

The family, with the success of the food industry, decided to return to the hospitality sector by opening Krish Ka Dhaba in 2018.
This restaurant was to offer delectable and affordable meals in a very relaxed, family-friendly ambiance.The dhaba became their favorite spot for locals as well as travelers.
This changed with the outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020, which brought unexpected problems to their business. Restrictions on dining and travel forced them to close down the dhaba. They continued the rest of their businesses focused on growth.

Future Plans for 2025

Krish Bhog has great plans set up for 2025. It has planned to further increase production by constructing a 40,000-square-foot factory so that it can reach and supply a wider market with still more products.
Their vision is to continue sharing the rich culinary traditions of Gujarat with people all over the world. Years ahead, they look forward to striding even higher toward new heights.
Krish Bhog today provides a huge percentage of the Gujarati namkeen and farsan consumed all over the world. This success speaks of their growth without losing their roots and authentic flavors to customers worldwide.
